You've heard the expression but honestly, can you say that anyone has ever literally given you the shirt off their back?
After tonight, I can.
This guy came in tonight and I immediately told him I wanted his shirt. Sure I was joking (kinda) but then my mind quickly switched from half joking to totally taking on the challenge to see if I could actually get this guy to give me the shirt off his back. Right there in the store. In public. With people around.
I told him I deserved it. I told him that not only did what was on the front of the shirt MEAN something to me, but come on, I was cute, didn't I deserve it based on that alone? We all kidded around and laughed. I think he thought I was only joking but the more I pressed the more he realized I really wanted that shirt. He told me he'd give it up but he'd be shirtless. I told him that he's a guy, I bet he had some kind of spare shirt out in his car. He looked at me, smiled...
...and gave me the shirt off his back! Shazam!!!! I go after what I want!
Afterall...
